Catching a train is a good way to explore the Shoalhaven region.

Regular City Rail train services are available departing Sydney from Central Station and heading south through Wollongong and down to the northern end of the Shoalhaven.

Trains stop at the delightful town of Berry and continue on to Bomaderry where the South Coast line ends. You can then explore further south by car.  If you need to hire a car, see the available options here.

There are also train services from Canberra to Nowra (via Albion Park)
