Seechange 2018

SEECHANGE is a vibrant winter festival celebrating all things creative, including the wonderful food of the area. Chose from a rich array of arts and cultural happenings taking place over 17 days. There is something different to experience everyday you stay.

Join visitors and locals en masse in the spectacular opening ceremony at dusk, Path of Light. Enjoy a nightly light/sound installation along the Huskisson beach pathway. Sample the best local cuisine during the SeeFood event. Share an Indigenous cultural pathway through walks, fireside stories, songs and performances in Booderee National Park. Discover artists’ responses to ‘reading’ the Bherwerre Wetlands. Expand your mind through the festival’s major show blending visual art, poetry, music, plays, film, photography, and creative workshops at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum. Be delighted by nationally renowned Bamboozled Productions’ astonishing cabaret acts in their wonderful pop up theatre in White Sands Park and their street performances guaranteed to surprise.

While you are taking in the unspoilt beauty of Jervis Bay you can learn about the Aboriginal culture and history of the Shoalhaven with Bidjigal elder, Laddie Timbery, who will also teach you to throw a boomerang. Or you may want to try stand up paddling in the bay’s pristine waters with dolphins and stingrays. Jervis Bay and its SEECHANGE Arts Festival have something wonderful for everyone. See you there!
