Discovery Summer Holiday Program 2017
National Parks and Wildlife Service’s environmental education program is called Discovery. Through our walks, talks and tours we aim to foster enjoyment of our national parks and provide visitors with an opportunity to see how we manage reserves for natural and cultural heritage conservation and recreation.
Bookings are required to ensure places in the activities. Printed finishing times are approximate and activities may be cancelled or altered due to unforseen circumstances. Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult. . When attending activities, please bring drinking water, appropriate clothing (particularly footwear), sun protection and a snack.
Vehicle entry fees apply in some parks.
Monday 9th January – Morton National Park (Tag-along Tour)
Tuesday 3rd 10th & 17th January – Seven Mile Beach National Park
Wednesday 4th & 11th January – Dharawal National Park
Thursday 5th 13th & 20th January – Minnamurra Rainforest Centre, Budderoo National Park
Friday 6th 13th & 20th January – Depot Beach, Murramarang National Park
Saturday 7th 14th & 21st January Fitzroy Falls Visitor Centre, Morton National Park.
